The All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) is an annual nationwide survey conducted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to collect comprehensive data on the higher education sector. It was initiated in 2010–11 with the objective of creating a robust database to support evidence-based policy-making and quality enhancement in higher education.

AISHE collects detailed information from all higher education institutions in the country, covering aspects such as student enrollment, faculty strength, programs offered, financial data, infrastructure, research output, and scholarships. The survey is a mandatory responsibility of institutions, as the data contributes to national policy, planning, and accreditation processes.
